Design, Innovation, & Sustainability

Our very own Marilyn Monroe Condominium and business buildings located in Downtown Mississauga at Hurontario St. and Burnhamthorpe Rd., have been awarded the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat Award (CTBUH). The award is given to those who show great innovation in their design, sustainable attributes, and city enhancement.

Richard Cook, awards committee chairman and founding partner of Cook+Fox Architects spoke briefly about the award stating, “The winners display remarkable creativity, as well as a respect for the environment, connection with place, and the urban surroundings”.

The other 3 winners of this prestigious award went to Bligh Street, Sydney (Asia and Australia); Palazzo Lombardia, Milan (Europe); and Doha Tower, Doha (Middle East and Africa).
